About Firewall Pulse
Firewall Pulse is an independent news site launched in 2026. It reports on 6 sections: Cyber Attacks, Cloud Security, Vulnerabilities, Data Breaches, Malware & Ransomware, Threat Intelligence. It is written for security operations teams.
“Bits, bytes and breaking security news” is the idea behind the site: report what a primary source has confirmed, say what is still unknown, and tell readers what they can do.
Where our reporting comes from
The newsroom follows more than 50 sources, and the fastest of them are checked every 45 seconds. They include government advisories such as the CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog, the National Vulnerability Database, the CVE Program, vendor security bulletins and first-hand research. When we rely on another outlet's reporting, we name it and link to it.
How stories are produced
Articles are prepared with AI-assisted drafting and automated monitoring of official sources. Each draft is checked against its sources, and unsupported numbers, quotes or claims are rejected before publication. The sources are listed under every article, with the publish and update times.
Guides
Alongside the news, Firewall Pulse publishes 60 reference guides. Guides cover the ideas behind the headlines in plain language and show the date they were last reviewed.
